In addition to his well-known practice in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Bruneteau is director of the craniofacial team at Children's Memorial Hospital. Dr. Bruneteau and his wife, Mitzi, are proud parents of 4 sons who all play hockey.

Education Dr. Bruneteau is a native of Omaha and attended medical school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. In addition to his general surgery residency at the University of Iowa he also completed a two-year residency in plastic surgery at the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Bruneteau completed a fellowship in micro vascular surgery at the University of California and a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at Harvard Medical School in Boston.
Dr. Bruneteau is board certified in plastic surgery and general surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He belongs to the American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the Metro Omaha Medical Society.
What is the first job you ever held? I worked for a lawn company mowing lawns when I was 10 years old.
Do you have any pets?/Favorite childhood pet? My favorite childhood pet was my St. Bernard, Oliver.
What do you like to do in your free time?/Hobbies? In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, following my sons' hockey, and reading.
What is your favorite sports team? Detroit Red Wings
What made you decide to be a plastic and cosmetic surgeon? My decision to become a plastic and reconstructive surgeon was primarily influenced by my desire to work in a profession that I am able to combine science and artistry in a way that helps people everyday.
